Welcome to the Harlan Hills Neighborhood BLOG,
My name is Mark Schmitz. My wife and children moved into our new home in Harlan Hills last October. We love the neighborhood and it’s location to downtown Madison. I own the design firm ZEBRADOG (zebradog.com) located on the Capitol Square. We specialize in guest experience based design. That means we put the visual frosting on “human” spaces. (Stadiums, arenas, corporate offices, historic landmarks, city streets, websites, etc.) I developed this new website for all of us to stay in constant communication. I am the Vice President of the Harlan Hills Neighborhood Association as well. My neighbor John Sturges (HHNA President) and I truly care about our neighbors, our security and our property values. This site is a great place to post tips for our new Neighborhood Watch program which was created not because we have a problem, but to keep a problem from starting. We encourage all of you to actively participate in this blog to share pictures, community updates and generally anything you feel would help us all stay close as a community.
